Stop Making Sense
The news cycle moves faster than ever. Stories appear, disappear, and are replaced before we have time to process them. As headlines accumulate, they begin to lose their meaning, creating a constant feeling of fear, overload and disorientation.
Stop Making Sense is an interactive collage generator that recreates this experience. It automatically combines live text and images from the day's news into nonsensical haikus.
Rather than explaining the news, the project visualizes what it feels like to consume it: a continuous stream of disconnected events where everything seems important, yet nothing has time to make sense.
